Easy Meditation Checklist

     Self-care has been made easy with the “Easy Meditation Checklist”. Meditation activates your “rest and digestion response” which helps your body recover from stress. This will help reduce anxiety over time. Ideally, you want to practice this  meditate daily; however, any amount of meditation is better than none at all.
     This meditation averages 10 minutes but you can simply adjust the time by taking more or less breaths. This is will add more or less desired time. This meditation can be done sitting or laying down. You can place your hand on your belly to help ensure proper diaphragmic breathing. The belly should rise upon inhale and fall upon exhale. Visualization can be used as a powerful tool with this meditation. Imagine air flowing into your throat and down into your chest cavity and back out. Commonly, your breaths become slower as you move through this meditation exercise. Slowly open your eyes or return back when completed.
